I was hoping to be able to test the horn for the 180SS before getting it installed. The engine isn't at the point of being started so I was wondering if it's possible to test the horn some other way? The scooter is a non battery model. Excuse my electrical ignorance. Facepalm emoticon

Got any other running scooters with AC power horn or headlight? Tap off that. Idle should produce enough voltage to let you know if your horn will work or not.

Thanks, but a little awkward in NZ with our 240V system and different plugs. Everything is able to be overcome I guess.

The horn's easy to install. Finish building the rest of the scoot, and once the engine's running, hook it up and test it.
