Some of you will remember that I surprised my wife with a Primavera 50 for Christmas, because at 60 years old, I never thought she'd get her motorcycle license. Well of course she did, and she soon wanted more power. So yesterday we went and picked up this.

I figure I'll ride her 50 around for a little bit and then sell it. If I get one for myself it'll be a 300.

Oh, and I ordered the Vespa top case from Italy. I forgot I also need to fit the flat rack to support it.

It is indeed a 2023 150 fresh from the crate. We had an order in since august, but it never seemed to show up, then the dealer told us it would be the end of November. I cancelled the order and tried a dealer that had one on their website. The problem is that they had it on order for someone else. They called me on Saturday and told me that the person was having problems and couldn't get financing, but if I wanted it they would unpack it and build it as soon as they got funds from me. I did a check by phone immediately, because it's been hard to find that color. Wife loves it.

We all saw it coming, but it worked out and that's what matters. Who knows, maybe going for the 50 a few months ago was best if it let her grow confident rather than intimidate her. Either way, great choice. That's my girl's favorite color in the line up too. Congrats on the new toy

I added the Vespa top case, and backrest, and lowered it with a bracket from Scooter West.

Robsteeler66,
You are just a kid at age 60 - many more years of scooting left. Nice looking Vespa. Best to you and your bride. Bob Copeland (just turned 75) Getting cold here in Minnesota |

She will definitely not upgrade, but I may. π
Put on the number plate which came in the mail today along with the reg and title. That's probably all that I'll do to this one. |
