Sooo I'm planning on selling my 2007 Piaggio MP3 250. I got kids, life happens, no time to ride. Have not taken for a ride further than my neighborhood streets in 5+ years. Most use it gets is riding around the neighborhood looking at the Christmas lights around the holidays with the kids. Maybe 500 miles in the last 5 years.
I usually run it every month or two. I slipped a couple times and waited a little longer. I noticed it's been running worse and worse, and now I'm here....
1 - Recently it stopped idling correctly. The RPMs go up and down a few times and it dies (see videos - the first one one is with the air filter cover off, that's why it sounds funny.)

2 - It bogs down when I give it gas. I have to toggle the throttle up/down very quickly to keep the RPMs up. It won't go over 5300rpm / about 50mph.
3 - I had a check engine light when RPMs went over 2500. I fixed this one by replacing the Voltage Regulator. No more CEL - but still runs like crap.
I went to remove the filter box and clean/check the filter before selling. Wellll, it's like dissolved. See pictures. If I touch it, it just breaks apart/dissolves.
Guessing half of it went in the engine trough the intake manifold? Anyone ever had this happen and should I be worried here and/or know what to try to fix? I also replaced the Spark Plug and it did not have any impact on the horrible idle and performance.
Anyone interested in a 2007 MP3 250? Will make a good deal! I'm in Florida. Scooter always garaged. Got more pics of interested! Couple tasteful mods like a nice upgraded seat, GIVI Windshield, upgraded exhaust, mini cooper car tire on the rear, and top trunk. I also have foot rests/pegs I have not installed.
