I thought it was a pretty cool idea. Problem is, you can't drink while you're riding.

<snickers>

I have a beautiful center rack with a coffee cup holder on the Stella that was a gift from GoPam. I love it and will cherish it always. It's probably the nicest part of that bike and is loaded with sentimental value.

I also have a full face helmet ...

Local store with Mitch Dowd stuff. Not available now. Personally I'd go for darker colours to reduce skidmarks. No ABS.

Technically the one in question is inline-linked from another forum, not actually uploaded to MV. And in general, inline images don't survive over the long term.

But yes, technically, you can actually upload GIFs to MV. Since always.

I bought one of those mesh things that adhere to the inside of the glove compartment to sort of keep things from falling out when you open it. It was a pain in the ass to adhere it correctly and it has honestly provided zero benefit.

Ugh, is it really confession time? Fine...

I bought the GTS USB Power Plug thingy from Scooter West.
https://www.scooterwest.com/usb-power-plug-vespa-black-gt-gts-gtv-gtspp-usb.html

Usually I like looking at what they do and figuring it out myself (switchback LEDs from Amazon run a fraction of the price of their running light/turn signal kit)... but... I guess I just didn't want to cut into the wiring harness of my 3,000 mile pristine GTS...

I spent $60 US on something I probably could have done for $20 in about and an hour of my time... and still haven't installed it Facepalm emoticon ROFL emoticon

Decided after posting this I would install it this week...

Turns out, not so plug-and-play... apparently Scooter West sent me the wrong part.

It seems they've already reviewed my email and sent the correct part my freight forwarding service. Hurray. Now I get to pay international shipping and duties, twice.

The one time I spend money and get the Scooter West kit instead of just DIY'ing it... this is what I get for trying to have nice things Facepalm emoticon Lesson learned.

Man I almost did this a few times over. This is when I gambled on ali express. I have rizoma bar ends and mirrors but just couldn't part with the money for the grills. I've had these for a few years and am happy with the purchase.

That bike is perfectly fine for winning races against BV350s to the coffee shop. I just don't think the rider is going to be comfortable sipping their breve in that full track suit.

Looks like it has a side stand, but no rear turn signals? Perhaps they're integrated into the license plate.

I've done quite a few silly mods to my scooter, I'll share the latest two I did right before Amerivespa this year.
First was adding these 3d printed lug nut covers, and center cap cover for the MP3 wheels I have on my GTS. I saved a ton of money buying the wheels locally from a dealer as replacements, but got no center caps. Luckily I found this online.

Next I got the clear side panels and painted them red using plastidip.

I then added LED strip lights behind the clear panels. They shine through the 4 layers of paint and make the entire panel light up at night.

I may rewire these to go with my blinkers in the future.

This is really cool. I like the idea of increased visibility at night.

What light kit did you go with? Do the LED's have an option to change the color? Wondering if a setup like this would still have visibility benefits with the solid color panel.

My Classic Racks floor rack.Great product, I was impressed with them, but a) I never carry anything there, even on long rides, and b) with long legs and big feet any loss of space is a nuisance.

Going to put it up for sale one of these days....

I was thinking D-ring fasteners would be a good substitute...anyone try that?

I did. It's easier to just hang things of the hook. I took the D-rings off for one of the rallys and never put them back. Haven't missed them.

The side panels were from scooter west. However they only work on the older GTS scooters 2006-2019.

https://www.scooterwest.com/clear-side-fairings-pair-for-gts-gtv-300-super-gts08f-cl.html

If you don't have the clear panels the effect will be very different. Though at one time they had a red/clear that would work if red was ok for you. Before this panel I installed full underglow lights. On the back panels I used light l brackets to mount the LED to so they would face down.

The LED strips I used for the back panels were NEON tupe style so it would be a clean line. I went with normal red since I wanted the smooth look and easy setup. Plus red was what I wanted.

https://www.superbrightleds.com/vehicle-lights/led-accent-lighting/led-light-modules/led-neon-tube-lights-super-flexible-vehicle-accent-rope-light-280-lumens+color-Cool~8000K+length_in-24in~2ft

My full underglow kit came from a place called Joe Florida, but they are out of business now. Tommorow when I get a chance I'll add a few more of my silly mods.

'Super bee' stickers to the side cowls.

I still like the joke, they were replicas of Dodge Super Bee muscle car logos...originally black on yellow backround and I had a yellow Vespa.
Bee vs. Wasp being an additional twist, irritating the purists

The thing was, only after having placed the stickers, I was told that this was the nro1 way of hiding scratch marks on the side cowls Facepalm emoticon

And for sure, these got extra notice and suspicious inspection when I sold the scoot.

In general, I admire and prefer handcrafted mods and artisan work.
Could not be bothered with 'accessories'....like my current bike is marketed to have 117 OEM accessories... in real life, this means there are mostly bolts and knobs with various textures and colours I get absolutely no kicks out of that.
