Hi there
I'm about to purchase this Piaggio 2013 300 mp3.
This is not my first scooter but my first 3 wheel scooter!
Only concern is that it has 30,000 on the clock, other than that owner claims it's in great condition.
Should I purchase 10 y.o scooter with 30,000 on it for $4000 (au $) ??
Thanks so much for your advice 🙏

To me, the price seems a bit high, but then again, the price of all things two wheels (maybe three wheels as well?) seems high in Australia, even when you account for the currency exchange. The markets really vary based on where you are. Maybe Steelbytes can chime in.

Re: the Mp3 specifically, get familiar with the mp3 notch, see if it has that, and if it does, I would probably stay away. If not, and you like it, ask locals what they think about the price and if you're happy, pull the trigger. They're fun.

Is the MP3 350 available in Australia? The MP3 is a heavy piece of gear so the xtra power is a good thing. And the 350 is a good engine design.

It's about $2500 US, or $3500 CA, with about 18K miles on it. That bike would sell all day in the US for $2500.

Probably a reasonable price for the model but see if you can get it to come with roadworthy and rego it would be a better buy. It seems to be at the top of the range with mileage although mine has 50000 k on and still runs fie

Here they don't sell any day let alone all day lol.
I got about $1000 less than that when I sold mine.

Honestly....If you're going to go through the trouble of doing this, then just replace the bearings and do it right the first time. It's like re-roofing your home with bad shingles. That thread should have been long -gonZO. lol
