Hi people, maybe someone can help me (or clear me) with this mater.

I like to adjust the valve clearance in my 2022 500 HPE (not the 530) and searching inside the workshop manual, in one part says Intake 0.10mm and Exhaust 0.15mm, but in another page says 0.15mm both.

So now I'm unsure, what is the truth?

I appreciate the help, thanks in advance

Intakes are almost always tighter than exhaust due to the higher heat of the exhaust, and the cool air of the intake.

So the question remains, only to have the info documented and in clear (easy for others to search), the correct values in valves clearance for a 500HPE engine are:

1. Intake: 0.15mm / Exhaust: 0.15mm

or

2. Intake: 0.10mm / Exhaust: 0.15mm

Thanks again

2.

Nearly all Piaggio engines have 0.10mm for intake, 0.15mm for exhaust.

Be careful when setting 4-valve engines - use two feelers, as if you use just one, you tilt the rocker sideways and you wind up with tight valve clearances.

Even some dealer techs get that wrong...
