Since they changed the shape of the front and rear lights on the new GTS/GTV it seems that nobody is making aftermarket running lights for them yet.

At least they have the front running lights built in.

But is there a solution to get running lights in the back? Or are we just waiting for the aftermarket parts to show up?

Ideally I'd like to get some tinted ones, but I'm sure that means waiting.

For now I'd like to know if there's an aftermarket solution I'm not thinking of. Maybe there's a signalMinder or Blinker Genie kit that would work?

The problem I see here is that the front turn signals can no longer be removed without disassembling the glove box. I.e. it is for many no longer easily feasible to replace the front turn signals (it is at least more complex). This could be a reason why third-party manufacturers have less interest to produce a turn signal set (front / rear).
Furthermore, in Europe only approved lighting components may be used on a vehicle in road traffic. This means that manufacturers must first have them tested (extensively and expensively) before launching turn signals/lights on the European market. This process takes an understandable amount of time.

I know that in the German forum some users have tinted or foiled the turn signals of the MY23 (also that is not allowed here in Europe), that brings at least black turn signals in the short term.

1. So the rear running light on your 2024 GTV is in the brake light housing?
2. You want a second RL in the turn signal?

Just wondering.

1. Yes, the "tail light" is currently the only rear running light
2. Yes, I want the turn signals to also have running lights.

I did this with my 2010 GTS using ScooterWest part # MI200-GTS-BK because I like having the visibility.

But as GermanGTSDriver driver stated I'll probably have to wait a while for them to be created, tested, and approved.

It looks like a Blinker Genie kit would work, but I don't like that it keeps the blinkers on full brightness as a running light.

Do a search on MV for Switchback LEDs. I think I did a thread on this last year. Bought some universal parts on Amazon for a fraction of the price Scooter West wanted.

Filmed this for a friend a while ago. The part between 0:20 and 0:30 will show you what it comes out looking like.

Oops. Good catch, thanks!

Between 0:20 and 0:30. I think it cost me about $30 from Amazon.

Should be able to do a similar setup in the rear.
