I have a three mile ( exact) loop out my drive and back and three cars and two scooters are spot on. The SS reads it as 4.7 which , if converted from KMs , comes to 2.9 Miles. I wonder if this 'replacement' speedo ( I do not remember where I got it from....) is a metric unit with an SAE mask.

The speedo reads pretty darn close to the 'your speed' signs ( I have no GPS ) so maybe the numbers are relative to the needle action and the gearing for the odo is different ? I don't really need to know how fast I am going.

In any case, I clearly have not put the 5137 miles on it that the odo shows.....

edit: the face denotes MPH.
