Went for a ride on my Liberty 2.5 hrs before sunrise, in the rain and leaves.

In my hi viz Oxford rain over-jacket, Bullet jeans, Icon boots and Nolan modular - I stayed dry and toasty. The newish Angels and the Liberty's 55/60W headlight were much appreciated.

Heavy rain sounds like dry Cheerios on your helmet. Kind of a Zen thing.

One scary bit - remains of a very "late" med. sized furry animal of some kind was smeared on the stop bar at a light. Very Very slippery when I put my boot down!

You are a unique one, actually riding out voluntarily in the rain. I only do this on extended rides (like +4 days) or when I ride to work and the weather changes to rain on the commute home.

I have been caught in some heavy wind/rain. My rain suit (Frog Toggs) Jacket and pants keep me high and drive even driving at freeway speeds in heavy rain. My super new zip up riding boots are water proof. I do have waterproof gloves, but in the warm summer I go barehanded in the rain. Normally, I always wear gloves.
