Has anyone in Europe had a chance to see the Microletta? Or maybe had a chance to test one?
https://microlino-car.com/en/microletta

It looks to be an amazing buy, if it can go as fast as they say for as far as they say. I know that it most likely doesn't. But it isn't listed for much more than a Piaggio 1 Active.

With the two front wheels, it appears to work like the MP3. I wonder if it automatically locks upright? I would assume so, otherwise, it wouldn't be very stable at the advertised 80 kph.

I hope they bring this to North America.

P.S. The Microlino looks to be a hoot in town too. Again, I hope they bring this to North America. Would help tremendously with parking in my city.

I received a reply about both the Microlino and the Microletta today from the company.

They said that, "at the moment, the Microletta is still a concept and there is no date for production yet."

As for the Microlino, they are only production in Europe at the moment. Apparently, they don't have an if or a when the Microlino will be available in the USA. I found a sentence somewhere on their website mentioning requirements for the US DOT. So, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the lovely US DOT will deny us having it because of some arcane headlight rule or some other BS.

In a nutshell: if you want to drive a Microlino around your city, you have to be in Europe. And if you want to ride the Microletta, no one is, yet.

The Microlino is something you might can get, when you get to Portugal. They've sold over a thousand of them so far.

As for the Microletta, they're not being produced yet.

Gosh, the Microlino sounds like a good reason to live in Portugal in its own right!

I don't think that's accidental.

Nope, surely not. A few years ago i was able to explore a prototype on a "micro-mobility-fair".
I missed the move-away-steerwheel from the Isetta.

The only feature of the Isetta that they didn't carry over to the Microlino, that I believe they should have, is the steering wheel that moves with the door. If you watch people get in and out of the Microlino, it is awkward looking. And several reviewers online comment on it being a bit of a squeeze. However, if you watch people get in and out of an old Isetta, it is much easier. The reason being, from what I can tell, is that the steering wheel gets out of the way, being hinged and attached to the door on the Isletta.

I'm sure there is some reason they didn't do this on the Microlino. I can't imagine it was an engineering reason though. It's designed by a 21st century Swiss company. If they figured out a way to do it in the 50s and 60s in Germany and Italy, built to a price point, then certainly a 21st century Swiss company with the benefit of CAD could figure it out! I think it is regulatory reason. Perhaps it is aesthetics? Anyway, it is the only complaint I can see with the car/quadracycle.

That's awesome! Did you take that photo lately? Curious, how much were they asking for it?

The pic is from 2019. I don't remember the price.
