This sure does!
Been trying of a couple days to post a couple pictures taken about a week ago and having no luck. Not complaining about the site in any way as 99% of the problem is I'm sure mine!!! Maybe some day MY brain will start working again! So best I can do is resort to text only, and so far this has taken over ten minutes to get this much typed!! Basic story is wife and I decided to hit a old fasioned handberger stand may 35 miles from out house that was June 26th. I finally got home July 3 or was in the 4th?? What ever problem was no the result of the GTV!! Wife was riding in front with her CanAm Spyder and I was following on her GTV a few miles be for getting there there was some traffic in the town before the stand. Then wife was in forth place behing a ChevtPick-up when light red. She stopped and left good amount to room behind Chevy and we bothe were almost stopped. When a mom in Mazda van was payin more attition of bratts in Van than traffic! She then ran the van into the GTV and pushed me hard into wife on the Spyder! I was planning to post a pictur of the GTV and Spyder but just typing this much has taken hours. They tell me I lost consinusness at the scean and was air lifted to hospital in Rochester NY about half hour away on road, good thing is my sister and brother in-law live near the site and somehow arraingments were made to git my wife ti th hospital. Other than one good size broose she still is not sure of other than soure muscells Wife seems to be pretty good. Spyder is suppose to be at our dealer, worst damage I can see in picture in the lrft saddle bag is few inched low on the top mount and the signal lamp looks broken. The GTV did not fair as well! Front sprash guard has big dents where front lougage rack mounts, front fender is split into. Rear end/fenders/lights has damage from Mazda hit. Plus front end may be turned too far to one side. Sorry about horable spelling and other errors!! ![]() |

After posting I now see I did manage to get double post of the rear of Spyder. If anyone has a way to delete that I would be glad for the help. Any help is appreciated, this took most of the afternoon and I know I missed many typos!

Working in my garage today my reading glasses fell off, and I carefully picked them up and put them somewhere safe. Fifteen minutes later when I needed them, I absolutely could not remember where that 'safe space' was. After a fruitless search of my garage I went inside to grab a spare pair, then stopped to use the bathroom on the way back to the garage. When I stepped into the bathroom, the mirror presented this sight. I really wish I was making this up. ![]()

That looks as if you might be lucky, and the front fork isn't bent, and the steering column hasn't been pushed out of position. If that's the case, it'd be easy to get this rideable again, less so to get it to look pretty, and even less so to get it back to 'pristine' condition.

Lshansen,
The worst nightmare with both of you involved. My best wishes for your recovery. With the number of these rear end events posted, I have been concentrating on the rearview mirror when stopped. I also stop back a little and look for a escape path. Saved my bacon last year. Car could not stop, so I flew up parallel to the car stopped in front of me. Sure as heck, the car behind me came to a stop just short of the car in front of me. Wow, I almost crapped my pants. Scared me big time. Really sorry for your ordeal. Be well. Bob Copeland ![]() As already stated, we can replace scoots, you and your wife are more important.

OFG Funny story....my work is slow during the winter and I went to Goodwill and wanted to work for minimum or whatever. They wouldn't hire me because I was caught with weed when I was 17. She said, "This is a Christian establishment". I began telling her that cannabis was a common medicine in Jesus' time, but she was having none of it.

Why do cruciferous vegetables smell like ass?
Don't get me wrong, I like cruciferous vegetables, and eat a ton of them. Which is why I know that they smell like ass as they cook, especially in the first few minutes of cooking.

It looks like I may be off the hook for the catholic service though, apparently the catholic's in Carson City won't allow a church service without a body and papa Fred is being cremated. We are now supposed to have a memorial service at some later date but it looks like I won't have to be in the same room with my brother in law so that is good. I can see messing yourself up. I can't see messing up the lives of everybody that ever loved you or did anything for you, being a huge burden to your family, and then bringing three children into this disaster of a life. It's a shame. But then I guess I am describing addiction aren't I. Even as someone from the wrong side of the tracks though that aint right. |

So I took the plunge and have gone back to school. The university I'm attending has fully online classes (it also has an actual physical campus with live, in-person classes). They work on a trimester system, where each term of the trimester is eight weeks, with each week being a Module. To help replicate the classroom experience, we have Discussion Board requirements - we have to create one Discussion post per module by the Thursday of that week, and reply to two other students' posts by Sunday of that week. The Modules run Monday-Sunday.
This is all well and good, but their interface sucks donkey nuts. There is no way to easily navigate back and forth between posts, other than using the browser's Back button, or clicking the link to that week's Module at the top of the page. Either action reloads the page from scratch, forgetting where you had scrolled to. And the navigation is even worse if you're on a mobile device. One would think that a university that has UX and UI courses would make sure that their own website wasn't a pain in the ass to use. And another thing that is pissing me off about going back to school... There is no set policy on what writing style format we are to use. Like I said, I'm taking two classes. One instructor is requiring us to use APA, the other is requiring MLA. Luckily I have downloaded Word templates for both formats, so it'll be somewhat simple to deal with, but I shouldn't have to. The school should select one format and stick to it. Other than that, everything's great. |

Well, yesterday, TBH...
Was home all day, trying to paint part of the laundry room so I could put some things back, wedged behind the furnace for a while....somehow got to look like I'd been painting all week. In the meantime, had plans to make some pita breads and hummus, so as painting wound down for the day, went after that. Put some olive oil on the griddle, then when transferring it accidentally bumped the dispenser, which of course tumbled to the floor and shattered, leaving a good cup or more of oil amongst the glass shards. ![]() On to the hummus....fortunately didn't cause any immediate problems, but the food processor's bowl apparently was in the process of giving up the ghost, so replacement is in order.... Managed to tip over the recliner before the debacle of a day was over.... |
