That is max. It should be lower. I should run probably high 30s. They are the low profile Firehawks that came on the car. The thing that gets me is the one that's stuck.
I'm on the fence about keeping / replacing them. Once that back tire can breathe again I'll go back and adjust them accordingly.
The other thing that threw me was the handheld inflater that I use on my compressor was way off. I dug out one of the old dollar store zip stick types and it matched my TPMS almost exactly. So I was doing a lot of 'fiddling'.
What theayn said is true ... the number on the tire is max pressure at load, so it should be lower than what the tire says.
Oh, and for the record, I am still averaging 165.2mpge or 4.9 miles/Kwh. I'd translate that to furlongs/joule for you, but you know how math works.
