Hi, can I use this unit to increase top speed on my 2022 Vespa Sprint 150S, Euro 5? I do not want to change the cylinder head.
Malossi Force Master 2.1 5519025 electronic control unit

Allit does is allow you to vary the fuel mixture and it increases the rev limit.
If your scooter does not reach the rev limit already or you have not done any other modifications, I do not beleive you will get any extra top speed.

*maybe*
But I think playing solo this thingy can not perform in any good way. It has no setting for any combination without Malossi cylinder. So I do not think it will do any good. May run somehow but not with advantage.

Thanks, but I'm thinking that the rev speed limiter will be lifted with this electronic box, maybe that is not such a good idea with the original cylinder?
Has anyone done this out there? 😀

I understand the want and need to increase performance on scooters, but know that it will decrease reliability as well. If you have the means, get a small displacement MC. They go for cheap when they are used.

I would suggest a GTS 300 instrad - if it schould be a vespa.

It is sad, but times for cheap and easy frontyard-tuning are over since the days of 4-stroke with electronic injection.

But I can understand you soo much! I'd rather have a Sprint200 than a GTS300. I prefer the lightweightyness of the smallframe, it is such a breeze to ride, except for the 90ish limit.
At least you could improve the accelleration a bit with different rollers or DrPulleys..

I asked one of the European Vespa parts vendors, they said: No, it can only be used with the recommended Malossi cylinder.
So, I'll stick to the original setup.
Thanks all! 🙂
