Did anyone actually fit a SR3.1 yet? Mine arrived in a plain brown cardboard carton with no instructions and just a baggy containing a rubber O-ring and a pair of springs.

Of course there's not much to explain, just fit it to the stub and then the usual captive nut shenanigans.

I'd be grateful for any input regarding the O-ring. There's no obvious groove for it to sit inside the downpipe. Should I just stuff it down there and hope for the best? Seems like it's not going to do much, which is a shame as I was looking forward to not getting all the black goop compared to my old SR2.

If anyone is upgrading to a SIP Road 3.1 and has a Road 2,0 or a Road 2.5 that they want to get rid of, I'd be interested in buying it. PM me
I know I asked this a couple of months ago but I'm still looking for a used Road 2.0 or 2.5 for Red Rover. I'm going to be in the LA area this week so if you've upgraded your Exhaust and want to get rid of your old one, please let me know.

I have started to follow Freakmoped on FB.

An engine builder that dyno tests various parts including a lot on exhausts.

No manufacturer input so just straight talk about quality and value.

Or is the polini box a better option
The Polini box has a wider powerband. It's known for performing well in the lower rpm ranges. Good choice if you have a long transmission ratio.

I heard there was a Road 2.5, but my sources are not always reliable... Never Mind! A 1.0 or a 2.0 will be just fine

I purchased last year two SIP 3.0. One is on my P200E and the other is back and forth between my Sprint Veloce and the PX150. After buying and trying several exhaust boxes of great reputable companies like Polini or Malossi I can say that the SR3 is undoubtedly the best of all. The midrange/top end is unreal.

The gains are significant over the Malossi and Polini. Is the 3.1 is an improvement over the 3.0 then I recommend. I love my 3.0 very much.

Way ahead of you...
Get yourself a dragy device and you will thank me forever. Stop distance, stopping time, acceleration (in every single increment measure that you desire), top speed, elevation(altitude), G meter, Dense altitude, overlaying video, inclination of the road in accurate degrees so that you are never guessing if you were going up-hill or down hill. Roll acceleration, 60' feet, reaction time, 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile, mile marker. total distance covered.

Basically a GPS device specifically created for drag racers and speeds nerds. It has one of the most powerful processors to measure everything accurately and fast and it connects to several satellites immediately. It mounts on any metal surface thanks to its powerful magnet. No cables requires (bluetooth).

I don't sell them nor I am associated with them, I am just a user that loves data like you do. I highly recommend it, you would be the perfect person for that because you are very handy and you love to compare data like me.

Good to hear your experience with the 3.0. I bought one for my 221 build. I think it suits me better than the Polini. We'll see!

I purchased a Polini box for my 210 Malossi P200E. I don't think I even owned it for more than 6 weeks, I sold it quick. I wasn't impressed. I put the SIP 3.0 based on my wonderful experience on my 150px/Sprint Veloce and I am very happy now. I think you will love the 3.1 if it happens to be as good or better than the 3.0.
