Don't be flippant about it. Remember people that have meant a lot to this forum. Judy, Aviator, Bitza. True riders.

For Bitza.
This was a hard one. I think he would like it. Guaranteed he would make a joke out of that. This song is for you, crazy fooker. |

It's in the title. No flippant songs. You are better than that.
Let's move on. Want a young girl to sing? Here. |

There has been no better example of a true scooter rider than Lostboater (Ken Wilson)
We lost him on June 5 this year. He rode everywhere in the 14 years that he had after retiring as an airline pilot. The appropriate music for him would be Pavarotti. Bill

An appropriate morning song after a night of debauchery. It's nice to just be here. It's a wonderful, quirky community.

Thanks, Rickster from South Jersey. It's always nice to share a song. I thought your offering was quite nice.
On hearing that Mike Ness of Social Distortion has been diagnosed with cancer of the tonsil, I will post a Social D song. Stage 1 btw. It should turn out ok, but being in your 50s with a cancer diagnosis puts a different perspective on life. Here's to Mike and a full recovery. |

Being able to emote, and waking up the next morning saying, "damn, I can't show my face there again, I sounded like an asshole", then coming to grips with the fact that we are all pretty much self-centered beings, and being ok with it, because most dont give one shit about ya!!!!!!!!!!!! I appreciate the tap, friend. CHEERS. |

Madison, I'm assuming you are from the area. This one is for you, since they are from Milwaukee. Such a wonderful band. I got my first taste of sex listening to this. That summer was nice. Parents out, walk to her house, and lay on the couch watching TV and listening to music all day.

I have a good life. Nice place to lay my head down. Good lady by my side.
Middle aged as I am, I get one more shot. My son is in his 20s well on his way. Packing it up and traveling sounds good to me. She thinks it's a phase. This is saying goodbye to the chains that we bind ourselves with. |

An Irishman through and through. You can hear the heartbreak and strife in this music. People that laid their lives on the line a few times.

Here is an Athens, GA. band. 1990, their first album after losing a founding member. I just love both these ladies.

But by seasonal accident Shane MacGowan was actually born in Tunbridge Wells. Shane's parents Maurice and Therese were visiting his soon-to-be aunt for Christmas 1957 and the early onset of labour secured his fate as an improbable Man of Kent. After a stint in the Pembury maternity ward the young Shane went to his aunt's house to "sleep in a drawer" for the first weeks of his life before the family returned to Tipperary.

I lied. Before I post the song, a story. I went to college in Flagstaff, AZ. It was a great town, back then. For a trip east once I arranged a drive away car (do they still exist?). The car I got was a six-banger Mustang, in passable, just, condition. I drove with a friend to Chicago, his home, then alone the 900-ish mile to mine.
This Mustang had an AM radio. No FM, nothing else. Every twenty miles or so I would catch another AM station playing the hot song of the week. By the end of my trip, I hated America. |
