hmm. i was hoping for something more.. This color scheme is v similar to the GTV. Which I almost bought, but they won't sell the Black one in the USA.

I just showed the pictures of the new 946 to my wife, who is especially enamored with dragons, and I'm trying to dictate her reaction in real time. So there you have it.

MV munges uploads not Android 🤦‍♂️

I call BS. It was a straight PNG. The only thing MV does is resize it, which it does flawlessly 100 times a day.

As evidenced by the completely normal upload I just did above.

no its avif., I checked the file that was still in my recycle bin and also the mime type of where I downloaded.

I just looked at your upload and the original file on the Vespa website. Yours has had a black background superimposed under it, whereas the original has a fully transparent background.

I don't know what you did to the file before you uploaded it, but it's been munged. And not by MV, because my upload worked fine.

Did I mention that MV doesn't actually take AVIF files? There is literally no switch case that would do anything with it. They are completely ignored.

Here's the kicker: the image you uploaded is a JPG, which lacks any kind of transparency support. And MV never, ever converts a file to JPG (though it will resize a jpg).

So I do believe that your Android OS converted the file to JPG on your behalf, losing the transparency in the process.
