Modern Vespa

Hello there, I'm kinda new here and proud to have a Vespa.

It's not too much, but my dream is real now. I drive a lot on a Vespa S 50 2T around the city and it's really fun, relaxing and sometimes challenging. Why challenging? Sometimes my carb gets clogged, it's out of tune or something breaks. But overall, I love the Vespa experience.

Oh, I forgot, I'm from Romania (Europe), from a mountain side city, Brasov.

I love this forum as I could find a lot of topics related to my scooter and the community is helpful.

I do understand the "challenging" part. My most recent Vespa was an ET2 50 named Lily. The challenge with the two of us was simply making her carry my oversized self around! Sold her some 5 years ago, but there will be another Vespa in my garage shortly after the first of the year.

Coming to Romania from USA can be like a place stuck in the past, the other way around is like going to the future. But each place with its beauty.

Part of the charm. We tend to romanticize the past-it had its problems, but so does the present in the US. I'm old enough, with a rural youth, and it might be more of a rewind!
