Hello, probably a dumb question, but is the ECU a number I can read off my vespa? If so, where can I find it on a 2008 LXV150? Thanks!

The ECU is a physical part not a number.

Do you mean the part number of the ECU? Or maybe the VIN number? Or ...?

Open the seat and take out the bucket.

Here's a picture of an ECU of an LX 125 i.e.
Not your exact model, but probably almost the same.
This is the ECU.

There are some numbers on it.

let's start with something a little easier that will clear up the situation.

is the bike carbureted or injected?

if you do not know, take a picture of engine from the top and post it here.

Thanks everyone! The folks at AF1 racing in Austin helped me out. It's a carbureted scooter, so the piece i was looking for was just behind the glove box. I had to remove it to mail it in.
