Are there any places besides Kawasaki in Plano and Moxie Scooters that work on MP3s? I just left Kawasaki and I didn't feel like this was the best place to take my scooter. The service person said that they don't like to work on the MP3 so that really worries me. Moxie had been great, but my brother brought his Beverly 250 in and it took over a month to get it back, and it still wasn't work properly.

Are these our only options????

Plano Kawasaki is supposedly the Piaggio franchise in the Metroplex.

I'm surprised they'd turn away your MP3. I bought my used MP3 there a couple of years ago.

Maybe talk to the store manager, or Piaggio Corporate. Something is not right.

Kyle's Scooter Shop does good work, but don't know if he works on the MP3.

That being said, AF1 Racing in Austin is not that far away, if you have access to a tow vehicle and trailer.

Good luck.

I had very good experience with this dealer

my MP3 had a failed Voltage Regulator after a Lightning strike hit a tree near where I park the scoot.

left it with them for a week, they were booked up bad, after a Power Grid outage for a week in their part of town.

they called me with updates, I like that.

I just hate that I have to travel out of town to get decent service. But take this with a grain of salt. I haven't taken this scooter to either place, but hearing someone say that "no one likes working on those things" doesn't give me a lot of confidence. I think I will try Moxie since they work with scooters only. I wish University Scooters was still open. I had a great relationship with they guys there.

about the only thing in their store is Scoots.
more brands than just Vespa, and they did not whimper one second about working on my MP3.....

they serviced it completely, and explained to me in detail what they found, and why they replaced the "Permanent" anti-freeze from Italy that was 14 years old now.... they said it "looked really bad"

I explained that the rear brake was locking up after sitting all winter in my unheated shop, they said that moisture had collected on the disc and pads, they replaced all pads per my request and cleaned up the rotor surfaces.

It runs like a brand new scoot today... I am lucky that I have access to non-ethanol gas here everywhere.

I felt like they did me well,
I bought the MP3 back in 2018 or before,
it had never been serviced once, I was told that up front by the owner.

it looked brand new, ran like new, and I drove it at summer m/c rallys for many years and at RV campgrounds... it rides in our toy hauler.

when it failed to start last spring, I figured out real quick, I needed Professional help.... I had bought the GIVI windscreen, and could not figure out how to get it installed, without breaking plastic stuff.

here she is, waiting for me to take her for a ride
