Hi all

I'm looking to convert my existing stator to DC (desoldering the ground etc) and then running to a DC only regulator.

This is the approach I'll be taking:

Will then have more juice to charge the battery which the LED lights etc will all run off.

At the moment I'm using a standard stator (with only one coil supplying the battery) so need to top up the battery every fortnight or so.

Thought I'd see what regulator people would recommend?

In the Scooterlab example above they use one from Scootronics

My power requirements aren't too hefty, though would be good to do properly and have it reliable.
