Hi all hope all is well ?
Now for the question, does anyone have a px 80 E flywheel Ducati 996156 spare or an alternative for sale?
Tried everything and I'm convinced the flywheel is too weak.
TIA Garry

PX80 used the same electronic flywheel as the 125/150 & 200 so they're widely available.

I'd recommend a lighter one for the 80 over something like a stock 200 E start piece.

should fit no problem.

let's see some pictures of what you're working with. namely the stator and the case.

also, do you have an aftermarket kit on there or is the barrel stock?

what is not fitting? walk us through that as the PX80 was never sold in the USA. Just viewing SIP, the same crank and flywheel from PX200 fits the PX80.

Is it catching on the bolts holding the stator on? Can you put marker pen on the back of the flywheel and then gently spin it until it starts to rub. then see where the marker pen has rubbed off.

SIP agree with everyone else. PX80 uses a PX125 etc. flywheel.

Can't make really well from your pics but you need to cut the extra lip for newer flywheels. Also, the dust seal lip looks like it's bent and not round...

And FYI, BGM stators are crap...
Cut this lip if it's there...

Dude I've literally just read the same here
some early p-range casings wont let a disc flywheel sit fully "home" on the crank, they have a web of ally at the front of the casing , that the flywheel doesnt clear. either machine the cases.

Now you have sent a photo the mystery is resolved. One thing do you need to machine right back?
Thanks for the help everyone
