I wonder if anyone can help me out? I low sided my pristine T5 on some gravel. It really hurt, I had bruises where I didn't know it was possible for a gentleman to have bruises 😁

What hurt more is the damage. All cosmetic but a lot of paint required. The paint sticker is worn off and I can't see the paint code. I seem to recall the colour was ford moon dust silver, but not totally sure. Does anyone have a silver T5 Classic that can advise on paint code or confirm it is a Ford colour?

Thanks

Thanks.

Chiara Di Luna met does looks like a match. Reason for my uncertainty is that I was told T5 classics were only for Uk/Ireland market and were painted in available car colours. Not sure if this is true or not. I did have a colour code giallo Genestra T5 a few years ago which I believe was a lancia delta integrale yellow. I also had the silver T5 back in the 90's and seem to recall it was moon something (dust?) silver. Maybe I need to ask for a rattle can and see if it is close, although as the paint has been on the scooter for 25 years, no doubt it will be slightly different!

Thanks

So after all this time, I ordered a test pot of Ford moon dust silver and it appears to be a match, will test. IIRC someone told me that the T5 classics were all done with car colours. My last T5 had a giallo ginestra colour and code which I believe is Lancia integrale yellow. Hope this helps someone on the future….
