With the switch in the Lock position, push it in briefly and let it come up again. The Vespa will then unlock and show the Welcome message. You can now turn the switch clockwise without pushing it in.
You should be able to change from On to Off and back without pushing the switch, unless the key loses connection and the Vespa switches off again.
You could leave it in the Off position and walk away. The scooter will then lock itself after a few seconds. Then you can't switch it to On again, unless you push the switch in and let it come up again.
Thanks for the reply.
I don't know, man... I tried that, but nothing.
When i try to turn it right without pushing it in, it feels like it's stuck. When I put some pressure on it, it will turn but without any effect. Only when I press and turn it, it locks on the LOCK/OFF/ON positions.
When I first got my Vespa, it used to work like you mentioned, but now the knob only reacts with "push in and turn".
Could something affect it? Like the anti-theft device or something?
