It will be too short. Better go to 27/69. RMS or CIF will be enough.
g_papanicc wrote:

The same. Polini spring will be enough.

exhaust????
IMHO - Polini Banana or Polini Original.

Better go Vape Road or at least PK XL 12V electronic.

Short 4th gear is a good addition. You can save money on exhaust and primary for it.

+1 to all of what Roland said.

you'll have to change the primary, so what type of riding you're looking to do and what type of build should influence that choice.

all of what you have planned seems like a nice mellow set up.

I'd go a little longer on the gears the 24/72 is pretty short, but if it's just a city bike it'd be fine. V90/V100 primary or a primmy would be okay if you're trying to save a few bucks. but no matter what you put in, go with a short 4th/long 3rd tree.

electronic ignition is a must, whether that be stock or an aftermarket.

with that polini I'd run a polini kidney (what they call a banana), the polini "original", malossi power exhaust "banana", or the sip road banana. the Leo Vince is fine, too if you're down on bucks.

a 24 dell is fine, but a 20 or 21 polini SP carb will bolt up and jet in nice and easy.

roland suggested a vmc gs58 cylinder do you have any experience with such cylinders?
also what kind of clutch would you suggest for such a setup
i think im gona go with 27/69 gear and a shorter 4th gear tree and a sip vape road ignition

How about the CP58?

Looks pretty good, no experience with it, but can't imagine it's too different from any other 51mm stroke cylinder. It's on my wish list.

Save yourself buying a new cowl… lol

Ah yes, cast iron is a bonus with longevity. You can hone it, and is generally more forgiving with seizes.

No ideas with exhausts, only tried 2. A v100 Polini that was modified to fit (bad idea) and an egig unisex.

I think most banana exhausts are good, I was thinking of getting one for the next build with the CP58, that or another expansion pipe… still not sure.

thank you for your input i also gave you a follow on insta

i think the vmc tork exhaust is a good option for slightly modified 130cc engines its a full expansion and it looks sporty with the right tuning it will shine (not to mention the really good price ) its an option i considered from the start but roland conviced me to seriously consider it

With the Tork, see if you need to cut the bracket on the frame… or maybe it's been removed before.

Er… where??

Just looking at my own 50s frame…

The tork wouldn't fit on my bike.

Would need to cut the bracket highlighted in red.

Last few years of me tuning Japanese scoots, the go to is always a Polini or Malossi cylinder. I mistakenly chose a Polini 130 and had a really bad casting that was extremely porous. Im thinking of going with the VMC route now, let me know your thoughts when you install. Does the stator cash shroud need to be cut to fit these?

The Egig Python S we put on our Special didn't need any cutting of the frame (but the exhaust itself needed some bending to fit)...

Strange. I put Tork on my 50 Special without any work with chassis.

Looks like the tork or any curly exhaust might just clear the bracket.

My bad, thought it would hit.

Only with this cylinder you don't need to cut shroud. It is SIP branded, but it looks absolutely similar with VMC GS 125cc, just exhaust port is seems smaller.
I have VMC GS 125cc on my 50 Special and love it very much. I think that 132cc or 135cc kits is even better for sure. And 144cc kit is very interesting.
