So after a few years of adopting pre-loved Vespas, I finally bit on my local shop's holiday promotion and picked up two brand new (2023) Vespas. The fleet was previously comprised of the stunning 2006 GT200 in Verde Vintage, and a couple of GTS250ie, 2007 black and 2006 silver. The 250s were traded in along with some clam$ for a new GTS300 and a Primavera 150 Color Vibe. The 300 is intended for some longer trips around the state and up to British Columbia, and the 150 is mostly for my elder daughter who wants to do some riding again now that she is no longer pregnant. The younger daughter is pretty chuffed about the 300, she thinks it's the best thing going.
Both daughters took the MC safety course and earned their endorsements when in high school after I bought a Yamaha Vino 125, they like riding so much I decided to add another Vino. A series of Buddy 125s, 150s, and a 170i followed, and I finally grabbed the gorgeous green GT a couple of summers ago, and haven't looked back.
Not sure if things are getting out of hand, or if I'm finally seeing the light. At any rate, it sure is a lot of fun.
I appreciate all the accumulated experience and knowledge here in this group, it has helped me immensely. Thanks for being willing to share that.
Cheers,
Bob
