Season greetings. Since I have gathered good info here I decided to pass on some mods I have done to my Liberty 150.
One of the first things I noticed is that the rear suspension is very stiff. When you sit on the bike the front compresses but the rear does not. The stock spring is wound very tight, so I bought a Malossi shock from scooterpartsco.com. The preload is infinitely adjustable with the included wrench. I loosened it until the front and rear compress equally. The ride is greatly improved.
Next I added the Malossi windshield. The air flowing over the fairing was hitting me in the chest. Now it flows around my full face helmet. You are wearing a full face right? If not check this out https://www.mopedarmy.com/forums/read.php?1,3909549,3909993,flat=1#msg-3909993 Be sure to scroll up for the photo.
Bought Pirelli Angel tires, tire spoons, rim protectors, and Counteract balance beads. Did the install. I am now glued to the road. Went through a dog leg turn so fast I drug the center stand, never did that before.
But this is the best one. After you struggle to remove the gas cap, you will see green plastic. Stick pliers in there, twist a few times, yank it out and discard it. Now you can look in and see the gas level and added bonus, the cap now fits like it should. And unless you like purchasing gas $4 at a time, get a 5 gallon can and this pump from Harbor Freight https://www.harborfreight.com/battery-operated-liquid-transfer-pump-63847.html
My next mod will be variator weights. Anyone have any wisdom for me?
Thanks for past and future help.
