First off, there's a good chance they failed Q&A at a manufacturer, and that's why they ended up on Amazon in the US.

63% of the buyers give the company five stars, so if you can't find cheaper brake pads to put on your Vespa GTS, these sound like they might fit, at least the front pads anyway.

Just kind of a get what you pay for item. Overall just cheap quality....
By EvansDad on June 1, 2023.

I should not have to pay to ship item back (to China) when it was not proper parts for the motorcycle description said it would fit.

The pads I ordered didn't have any stick to them... do I apply heat or something to make it stick??????

My stock SH brake pads lasted 15,000 miles. I tried Malossi pads and didn't check them for 6,000 miles. They were paper thin and the disk was trashed. The only after market part I'll buy now is the belt.

I pretty much always go with OEM brake pads unless there is a reason to go with aftermarket.

For example, on my car I have aftermarket pads for improved braking performance under very heavy use. I only install these pads for track days. For daily driving, I currently have OEM pads, but I might switch to a low dust pad when the OEM pads are used up. For my wife's car, I'll go with OEM.

Around here, you have to drive like every day is track day, or you will end up eight cars behind someone who thinks 15 under is plenty fast.
I put Akebono pads on my car, and bringing it back into compliance when the radar detector goes off is a lot quicker.

I wouldn't in good conscience recommend those or put those on a bike, even if I was just flipping it for a quick buck.

OEM pads and decent aftermarkets from reputable sources are not that much money.

If it is OEM, go for the lowest price. Try AF1 racing and you get another price to compare.
Sintered pads give better braking but stock pads give better longevity.

I've not seen any of the dealers or distributors in Italy or the rest of the EU describe any of the OEM Piaggio pads for the GTS as Sintered. AFAIK, the Piaggio pads are organic pads made by Ferodo or Hong Teng. Most of the true sintered pads coming out of the EU are manufactured by EBS, Galfer or Ferodo, and they're that gold or brass color, even the OEM ones. If someone had a Piaggio part number for Sintered brake pads, it would be easy to check with them in Italy or likely even New York to see if they do offer sintered pads for the GTS.
Sintered pads give better braking AND last longer than organic pads.

That's up to USPS if you wisely take the flat-rate shipping. Getting here to California takes 3-4 days, sometimes a day or two longer.
