Welp...Fokkerpark must have finally worn out my package, because it's now in Memphis.

Just in time to get stuck in 2-3" of snow, which is what passes for a Snowpocalypse in this part of the world.

Found this out the hard way, not only did the package take way longer, but I was on the phone at like 6 am with FedEx customs talking about how I had 5 days to provide customs info and it was day 4 (Thanks for telling me)

These goofballs were really grilling me over bearing types and other kindof nonsense

Do not order over 800 dollars international, worst mistake of my life

It's a shame that FedEx is usually the cheapest and most reasonable time frame.

My shipping options are always like:


FedEx : 65 bucks 7 days
Ups 180 bucks, 25-45 days
DHL, 40828 bucks, 3 days

When my parts order got to Memphis a week ago, I figured I'd have it in a couple days.

Nope. Still sitting in Memphis. Stupid FUedEx.

SCK order arrived FedEx in four days
The name of the shipping method is different. FedEx Amerika Something vs FedEx Economy from SIP. I think all my orders from SCK haven't taken longer than a week.

I only chose FedEx and got the travelling box routine after UPS charged $85 brokerage fee for a $13 tax
Last order from SIP UPS took four days too.

Does anyone know the order $ limit before the tax kicks in?
I think MJ mentioned $700 or so. I'm close to there in the shopping cart

Btw I ordered from Scooterwest a few weeks ago at 5pm and it shipped an hour later

I did one for $748 and didn't get taxed but one for $900 and change got me for a little over a C note from UPS. My guess is $800.

Ordered from Scooter Center Monday. Gambled on DHL and package arrived Thursday, no drama!

Ordered a new P fuel tank and a PX fork for my disc brake build from SIP on the 29th. Was worried about the shipping but seemed normal at checkout. I knew something was up when I didn't here any shipping news. They hit me for an extra $49 this morning. I promptly dropped my shorts, bent over and while grabbing one ankle pushed the pay now button. I figured that fork would be a beast to ship.😂

Ahh, the ol' "Bitte Zahlung freigeben" email. You should have realized what you were going to have to geben frei-ly when you ordered that fork from them.

I have a SIP box en route right now. I felt both good and bad shivers when I saw "We have your package" on the FedEx page. Like...that's great, but for how long?

If they would at least add port of call stickers so you had some souvenirs when it finally arrived.

(I shouldn't make jokes as I have had a package waiting to start it's journey since Monday.)

It took exactly 20 minutes from paying the extra shipping charge to receiving confirmation that my order shipped!! Boom! Let's see if my fuel tank arrives not completely crushed. 🤣🤣

Came home to my SIP box. Front fork and gas tank unharmed. 😏 Yes!

My experience with SIP has been spot on delivery with UPS. It's a little more expensive than FedEx but worth it for where I live. FedEx sometimes put my package on a European vacation. As for Scooter Center, so far DHL has kicked ass on delivery.

I ordered (stateside) on the 27th and got my stuff today, and it was not a considerable order. to their credit once I rec'd invoice it did ship fast, no real complaints except my impatience. I demand immediate satisfaction!

at least it's not like car parts... jfc, it's like pulling teeth to get old coots on board with how easy it can be to ship shit. *goes outside onto lawn and screams at clouds*

FedEx/SIP actually came through for me this week.

I've been too sick (covid...11 days and counting) to get out to the workshop, but not too sick to buy shit online and my order from last weekend which was scheduled for Monday arrived yesterday.

I called them and said not to blow it cause you were ill and needed some cheering up.😝

I've always opted for that special handling fee. Wonder if that makes a difference. SIP gets my order out fast and the only troubles I get into were when FedEx would take it on tour. I switched to UPS and things have gone smoother.

At one point someone who didn't pay the fee got their gear shipped like 2 days before me and I had paid the fee... I haven't opted to pay the surcharge since then. But, this latest order might make me reconsider.

Order has shipped as of this morning. Time for fedex adventuring! Weeeeeeeeeee!

I ordered a new brake light switch for the Oi(L) from Scooter-Speed last week, and got a delivery notice today that the USPS had delivered it...back to Scooter-Speed.

So, sorry Lammy Jammy friends, no brake light for me this year!

dude...half the lammies up here in pdx don't have a working brake light. Get yerself a pair of Glo Gloves and use hand signals.

FedEx is delivering an SIP Road banana today. 5 days door to door! Yay!

that sip road banana looks good, no stupid gaskets, etc. only question is the battery box fit for non-ET3 bikes (which you don't have to sweat).

The SIP banana looks stock. Well, at least the part you see and that was one of the selling points for me. The dyno comparisons also made me feel like it had oomph where I wanted it.

I have also installed it on a US market pv125 and it fits. You do not have to cut the battery box. (Albeit, you do have to cuss like a sailor to get the damn spring on. Fffff… what a disaster that bit is.) 😎

Did you not get a photo of the delivery so you can figure out if you recognize where they left it?

A buddy of mine had a large SIP order (including a bunch of stuff for me) mis-delivered and he drove around until he found the house and collected it there.

It helps that he lives in a small town, but I have to love his dedication to the cause.
