Modern Vespa

We've all seen mistranslated instructions from a variety of languages. Metaphors don't always come across cleanly, but sometimes they rise to the level of prose poetry. This is part of the description of a topcase liner on Ebay:

-The side box can be equipped with an inner lining. With a lining, the tail box is not easy to touch the flower, and the hard box does not make a sound.

I like that so much more than the usual marketing lingo we're constantly subjected to. And who wants a tail box that's touching the flowers all the time?

lots of weird and inconsistent translations in the workshop manuals.

eg the chain tensioner is called 'distribution system' in one place and a couple of pages down it's called the 'chain tensioner'. Damn annoying for searching the manual.

SteelBytes, did you think it would be so easy to touch the flower? Your hard box may just be too damn noisy man.

I added a lining to my top box which would make it more gentle to the flowers that I never put in it
