Hi, I have this annoying issue that my 300 hpe sport clutch engages fully only at about 5K rpm and then takes off.
Especially annoying when I'm with a pillion, I basically have to twist the throttle all the way to take off properly.
What can cause that? Clutch springs that are too tight? (a bit strange because they are stock).
Thank you..

So it doesn't creep forward at below 5000? Mine (not 300 hpe) had a stock stall speed of 3150rpm. After I installed different clutch shoes with springs it is now 5350. Which I like. But I live on a hill.
