Hi all

I've recently rewired my scooter and took out the pinch bolt to loosen the headset to route things.

Everything is back together and I just need to tighten the headset to the fork but seems the headset is still a little too high so not lining up with the notch (see attachment)?

Is this a case of gently tapping with a rubber mallet or does it require more finesse - would hate to damage anything at this final hurdle.

Thanks so much!

Worked it out!

Seems I'd tightened the ground/retainer plate inside the headset down too tightly when adding new ground wires.

Just loosened it a little and it all lined up again.

Glad I didn't try to convince it to fit with a mallet - haha
