Hi,
I wear a gator with goggles while riding. In order to cover my face I need to pull the gator over nose. But when the goggles are on it directs my breath into the goggles causing fog. Putting little holes where my mouth and nose are hasn't helped.
Any ideas?

Just out for a rip are ya bud? Look for really good anti fogging sprays.

There are some for sale at Canadian Tire with terrible reviews, I'd skip those.

If you have a nearby sports equipment store where they do a lot of winter sports, all the leagues require visors these days, I'm sure they have some good anti fogging stuff anywhere that specializes in hockey equipment. Ideally, if you have a nearby powersports store where they cater to snowmobilers, they'll know what the good anti fogging stuff is too.

If you can obtain this product, I swear by it purchased from an optician and you only purchase it the "once" as you only need a small smear as you can see still nearly full, I got it in 03/2020 when covid hit having to wear a mask my glasses constantly misted up it worked great use it regular for road cycling over glasses and when on scooter even works well in fog and misty mornings ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘

Cut a potato, rub on the inside. Wipe/buff with a soft cloth.

Naturally, FortNine, the XKCD of moto stuff, has part of a video on fogging issues:
(from ~5min in). Possibly one of the hydrophilic solutions there might be of service on the inside of your goggles? I keep meaning to try these for my own glasses inside my helmet.

Well then I'd be thinking of trying to put some thicker foam on the bottom edge of the goggles.

Please read original post. The gator goes under the goggles (to hold it in place). No amount of foam will change that. Kapish?

Wear a Buff instead - then no need for any material under the goggles. You can put it on so that head, ears and brow are covered as well as neck, mouth and nose - just leaving the eyes uncovered.

In which case you're not using your gaiter to best effect.

If you pull the gaiter/Buff up so your head is right inside, then fold the back over your head and pull down the front to just cover your mouth and nose, you're all good.

You might be onto something there! Trying next ride! Thank you!
Is that you in the video?
