And more importantly, that he installs the correct spring and adjusts the dampers properly to your weight so that the ride height is correct and the adjustment of the compression and rebound damping is correct.

It's not like dealers who install bitubo on Vespas adjust them correctly for the rider

My friend purchased Brembo brakes from a online store and got fakes. The funny part is the fake Brembo brakes came with a hologram sticker with a code to log into Brembo's "fake" website to verify your purchase! Those fake brakes had the worst quality! I told him to order the Brembo brakes thru our local certified dealer but saving money was more important.

Much like Akro exhausts, many of the people who bought Ohlins shocks of dubious provenance will likely make that discovery when they send them in to Ohlins for warranty or repair work.

Just because you searched and scrolled and searched and scrolled and on page 46 you found what ever your tightwad a$$ was going to buy at 83% off in the size, style, color or version; doesn't mean you got a great deal on an actual verified certified "whatever" part.

Cuz, if there's a legitimate deal out there be it price or discount codes it's all over the internet and your to late.

Are you sure it's a company that sells and services iconic Italian motor scooters and not an Italian speaking wasp abatement firm?

Piaggio agents, sell new Vespa, Piaggio and Aprillia and service anything that their loyal customers bring them. Current old (vintage) scooters in there include a 180SS, a VBB and a VBC. Been known to build Aprillia motor that went to the Isle of Man a couple of years ago. The 180SS belongs to the NZ Vespa importer GM.

I've always ordered straight from Ohlins here in the States and they set them up per the bike and riding style you tell them before shipping them out. They're almost always spot on.
