V oodoo requested that I put up some photos of my rat-bike 1962 Motovespa 150s

I got this from a friend that was going to make a sign out of it, but decided to give it to me as a basket case when they moved shop. When someone says come get this or it is going to the scrapyard, well you know what you have to do.

It has the engine out of my $40 1979 Vespa P125X, as it didn't come with an engine, and the P125X was written off when someone decided to help me see if I could fly, I can't by the way. I limped away from that accident, bought the scooter back from the insurance (they payed me considerably more that the intitial $40 purchase price) as I had just rebuilt the engine.

This is a photo of it after the 1AM January 1, 2024 ride I went on. It was very cold.

This is a selfie I took shortly after finishing it, using black and white film.

Thank you Sir, that is my kind of rat! A solid body w/ failing original paint but pristine wheels, suspension, seat and headlight etc. It's the little things that add up. What kind of rack have you got on there, can we have a shot of the engine side from the back?

Here is a link to the original post I created about the scooter. It is buried in snow at the moment, so the back photo will have to wait.
