I think she's probably just fucking with you now.

That crossed my mind. She didn't say it to me, and didn't know I heard it.

I'm amazed that they've never heard of rivets, considering that every single one of them undoubtedly owns and wears jeans… with rivets in several places. I mean, seriously, how the hell can anyone grow up and not know what a rivet is? Do they have to be reminded to breathe?

I wanted a new pair of Levi's last week so checked on the size of one of my old pairs…. And found I didn't own any.
And it turns out that my new pair of 505s have no rivets. I blame Osama.

Both my parents are Italian but I never thought of my family as a specific race. Wasn't offended but pretty sure when a black girl looks at me she thinks white dude. Now I feel so exotic!

Hey, I would be remiss if I didn't share valuable tidbits like this.

Maybe not overheard, and I going to provide some context, but still pretty funny.

Out at dinner the other night my wife orders a chamomile tea.

Our server was a young surfer kid who seemed very eager to do a good job. Innocent and polite in a way that you don't expect young adults to be anymore.

Almost too awkward and shy to be in a customer facing role.

When he returned to our table he handed the tea to my wife and says, 'Miss, here is your camel toe tea.'

Even my six-year-old turned to me and said, 'Dad, what did he say?'
