Hi there,

I just picked up a Cosa 125 FL and it looks like I will need to drop the engine out of the frame.

Does anyone know what the score is with the rear hydraulic brake connection? Where should this be disconnected when dropping the engine and will the brake system need to be rebled afterwards?

Thanks!

You don't need to do that. You can leave the whole backplate hanging on the frame. Get the wheel and drum off and then you can undo the 4 M8 nuts that hold the backplate on the engine. There's also a small cover attached to the clutch cover and protects the brake line…
