Hey guys

I have an "old" Vespa GTS 250ie "07.
I would like to upgrade my old stock suspension, its a bit shaky on the stearingbar and its probably near end.

Was thinking on ordering from SIP but not sure what do you guys think its better for comfort and better handling mostly for runing back roads so not looking for a race suspension.

Was looking into the new original Piaggio one or this YSS (Shock Absorber YSS Mono X-Pro Serie front) https://www.sip-scootershop.com/en/product/shock-absorber-yss-mono-x-pro-serie-front_YSS9042402

Somebody has some suggestions? (Not into spending big money I am sure there are good ones for 300e)

I had a 2007 GT200. I bought a new take off front shock from a 2016 GTS and Urethane bushings from Clauss. It made a world of difference, and total cost was under $85.00.

YSS is a better shock than the stock Piaggio shock. So is Forsa. Forsa makes a shock that is close to the OEM in appearance, but is better internally. They also make a very good racing shock with an aluminum body. Anyone in your country who stocks RMS products can order Forsa or YSS. I would not recommend the OEM shock. It's more than twice as expensive as it's actually worth, compared to just about all of the aftermarket options out there. And definitely stay away from used shocks. There's a reason someone took it off the bike, and you don't want to be the one to find out what that reason was after you've installed it. If you're feeling rich, go for Malossi or Bitubo. I would not recommend any of the "house" brands. They're just putting their name on stuff they buy on Aliexpress. It's pretty, and they push it hard because the margins are incredible, but it's not the same quality.
If you decide to get the Forsa shock, here's the part number:
