I've had this mug over 20 years. I use it to heat up crank seals before installation. Just put one on. I wouldn't drink coffee out of this one.🙂

Always tea for me, thanks. I inadvertently self-administered some aversion therapy (read: overdose) whilst in college, and have never liked coffee since.

Used to have a framed poster in my lab captioned "Quality, blah, blah, Teamwork, blah, blah, Success" below a picture of the Challenger.

Yeah, BP's Beach Oil was a great product, wasn't it?

Okay, having a turn.

First one is my daily mug. Gets filled with green tea early in the morning, then on to the real stuff at breakfast. I brew 3 cups in the maker, but they all go into here, so I only actually drink one cup a day, right?

The chip. Angelenos might recognize the logo. Bought one out in LA some years ago visiting Homegirl cafe. My kid broke it a few years back, and my wife decided to replace it for me. And it promptly got chipped. FML. Anyway, I decided to be stubborn and stick with it. It'll probably last forever now.

Picture #2.... the Starbucks scooter is there just to apply to the club... it's usually in the evening tea rotation. The red one has a story. When I bought my GTS, Madison Vespa was alive and well, and I liked their mugs, of course, got two. One died, the other one went to my mom's for safekeeping, and when I visited I got served coffee in it along with mom's awesome coffee cake or cinnamon rolls. She was a bit obsessive about protecting it-my BIL got yelled at for taking it for his coffee on a visit. Anyway, it wasn't secure there, either, as the handle got busted. Mom never told me, but put my niece to work gluing it. It was pretty badly done (to be fair, I've never had luck with multiple breaks on a handle...), and I considered it dead to me. When mom passed, I tossed it. Last week I was going through her trash and found it, and decided, well, maybe it had life as a pencil holder, so it got a reprieve.

I drink my tea at work out of this one. The notches are to wrap the tea bag string (yes, American, I leave the tea bag in, I like it strong!). And it's meant to be held with the left hand so I can mouse with my right and the tea bag lays against the side.

I have 3 mugs that are favourites, but none of them get used a lot as I don't drink lots of coffee and even less tea.
The first one here was given to me by my son MANY years ago, when Michael still drove for the Scuderia.
The second one was given to me by my daughter in law a few years ago.
The third came from a friend who paid NZ$1 at a charity shop. Have no idea why there's an apparent reference to "clectric cars".

It took a post on favorite coffee mugs to get me to finally register an account.

The white mug is my favorite.

The brown mug is one my daughter made for me.

I am disgusted by scorpions, and thus scorpions are how my family says they love me.

I drive a 2023 Liberty 150; my first powered two wheel ever. It is a lot of fun.

I think it's kind of hilarious that it instantly became my favorite coffee. And now I don't live anywhere near any place that sells it! I was actually a barista for a few years and genuinely hadn't found a plain coffee I liked until I tried the Scooter's brand.

Welcome, it takes a unique hook for each of us to move past the inertia and join up, mine was technical information and images shared from other parts of the world.

When time permits, please post up some photos of your scooter and some of your favorite ride scenery.

Thanks,

Welcome to MV. Was your daughters mug hand built or done on a wheel? My wife got into ceramics last year so I am sending her a pic of your daughter's mug as inspiration.

Can you compare Scooter's to Starbucks? (I don't like Starbucks as it tastes burnt to me.)
I had a friend who worked in the coffee biz for a while and - unverified other than a friend told me - it's because they roast for shelf life.

We have a local place here called Schuill where I "prefer" to buy my coffee. Costco stopped carrying the Magnum coffee (a place up in spring lake) we like.

We've seen a Scooters or two pop up here in Grand Rapids. I haven't tried them yet. But for you Pacific NWers, I have a Dutch Brothers sticker on the Stella.
