You could spend two months in Rome and not get to everything. I was underwhelmed with Pisa - not much there and you can cover the whole place in under one hour.
Having said this, I went to go see the famous leaning tower. It just would be lower on the list behind Venice, Florence, Rome, Amalfi Coast and Sicily.
