Found the BIN and XDF for an HPE 300 E5

Looks pretty in TunerPro, lot's of fun stuff such as fuelling and ignition timing maps, speed limit, rpm limit, etc

I'll have to get off my arse and see if I can get this Kess V2 that I bought to work and read one of my ECUs.

Might even dust off a vintage copy of IDA Pro (or pirate a newer ver) and dig around a bit further 🤔

Edit: also found an E4 BIN

Edit: started a thread TunerPro XDF for ECU mappings of GTS 300 HPE MIUG4

The prospect of violent destruction is cheering me up today.

I don't know why, but I've always found destroying things to be remarkably therapeutic, particularly if the method of destruction is both manual and violent. I've been known to refer to my sledge hammer as my therapist. A good friend has a cottage with a run down old shed on the property. He's just invited me to the cottage for the long weekend in August, and suggested I pack my therapist.

If you're going to use your friends for free labor, you may as well pick one that will do the job with a big grin on his face, right?

It's just been hot in Reno this summer. Something like 5 consecutive days of 105F (41C) this week Facepalm emoticon

We headed to 8900ft to get a break. Luckily it's only 45min from our house to the Mt Rose Campground in Nevada. The cooler weather cheered me up!

Yes it is and no I didn't. My way to work takes through the middle of the golf course (head down go like the clappers and hope a ball doesn't bounce off my skid lid!) then on through Plym bridge woods. You know it then?

Got the bill to renew insurance on my vehicles from Geico and it was $950 for six months.

We have just liability on three older vehicles with two drivers insured. I have Markel for all of the two wheeled vehicles and very happy with them.

I decided yet once again to find an independent broker and went in person to Northtown Insurance in Reno not far from the Winco grocery store I usually frequent.

Wow what a difference! Nelia at Northtown Insurance shopped for a comparable policy and found me the same coverage with Progressive for less than $250.

And I bought another used car, also older but an upgrade so not only was the new car insurance less expensive but it was for 4 vehicles instead of 3.

Not only that my wife was shopping online and the broker price for Progressive insurance was cheaper than what was available online without a broker.

Cannot recommend an independent insurance broker strongly enough. I am sure they are not all the same but if you get a good one it makes a world of difference.

I told Nelly that it seemed like especially with my vehicle insurance even though driving habits, mileage driven, and driving record has not changed insurance regularly goes up.

She confirmed that she sees a lot of people that just stay with the same company instead of switching out of loyalty and convenience and it seems like the insurance companies count on this when they raise the rates. The commercials are true spend 15 minutes at renewal time and save money!

I told Nelly she is going to get a really nice Christmas present from my family this year. I am also going to leave google reviews. Independent brokers shopping for you at renewal time if they raise your rates is the way to go!

It will be interesting to see what they can do for the homeowners insurance when that comes due.

I think you will get a kick out of this one as well if you have not seen it before. It was 1985 and I remember reading the issue at my local liquor store when I saw it in the magazine stand and thought it would change the world...the world of baseball at least.

Making good progress with my TunerPro XDF file for the GTS 300 HPE E4.

So have confirmed the same speed and rpm limits and also the main fuel mapping is the same as with the E5.

If someone supplied the BIN for the GTS 300 HPE '2023' would be cute.

before someone quotes this it's important to note that i don't know if the E5 mentioned above is with the standard mapping or the mapping that the dealer can install if you buy piaggios exhaust.

Edit: started a thread TunerPro XDF for ECU mappings of GTS 300 HPE MIUG4

Over the weekend, we moved the contents of my rented lockup garage to our new house. 3 Trips, 1000ish miles in round trips and it was all done by 7 last night. Now to try and sort it all out but at least i should have a scooter or motorbike on the road again soon.

It's mental isnt it, the tower of london used to be the tallest building for miles around when it was first built yet it just looks hidden in your photo. I wonder if we will get to the point where the shard looks as insignificant.

My Director and Office Manager are currently going through the process of selecting the computer, monitor, and other accessories to replace my broken 2018 MacBook Pro.

I see that I'm getting a 15" MacBook Pro, and a 32" external monitor.

With the way the school district's ordering process works, I should have it by the end of August.
