Ive got heated grips, heated seats and cruise control on my Triumph Tiger and I've promised myself if and when I buy another bike the only one of those three the next bike absolutely must have is cruise control.

I gots heaties on the gts. I'm considering a speed 400 to bridge the gap til the Tamarit is delivered and should i lean into it, it'll also have heaties.
The Tamarit will be the exception, as it will be the fair-weather-only option. |

My daughter has spent 3 or 4 months putting together birthday gifts for my grandson, based on all the things he may legally do now he is 18 years of age.
It was a hoot watching him unwrap gifts from voting forms, application to become an organ donor, application to adopt a pet and a child, etc. He may also now legally drink alcohol, drive and become a stripper... She gifted him a g-string pouch and a bottle of liquid glitter. Of course, the party insisted that he wear the outfit to show us. Being a great sport, he donned the costume and came to show us to great applause. His girlfriend of a few months got an eyeful of her boyfriend's body tonight ! ⚠️ Last edited by Fudmucker on UTC; edited 1 time

I was mostly in Arlington (at UTA) from 1985 - 1988, but my girlfriend lived in Dallas (in Oak Cliff) and so I was there every weekend. I love how small the world is, and that there's a chance that we may have possibly been in the same place at the same time over 30 years ago.

new toy ...
Does lots, even rewrite the odo in my Supertech dashboard and stuff like abs bleed control, turn on and off fan, reset adaptive params, disable asr, virginise the ecu... If buying one be careful because the Vespa specific model can't do immobiliser stuff but the Piaggio Group model can. The Vespa model is 2/3 the cost. (Note, the eeprom mentioned in the pic below is the one with the keys, adaptive params, asr calibration ,etc. 8KB in size) |

Words like "soulless" and "formulaic" come to mind for both ... so yes. It very well could be.

Well I'm super stoked! It's never the best time to pick up another scoot but I couldn't turn down this deal. 2003 Malaguti F12 Foggy Replica, liquid cooled and discs front and rear. Got it from the original owner who imported it to the US. Needs a side mirror 😂. Current registration to boot!

Having never ridden any scooter other than the VL1 currently residing in my garage… I have trouble even wrapping my head around something like that.

Unsure why, we brought almost 10kg home between three checked bags from our trip to Italy. And when I say that's good cheese....lawd. But I spose that's now the "good cheese" and we save it for special occasions or whatever. IDK I'm making fresh pasta all week, whatever gets grated gets grated.

Took a ride to Pyramid Lake yesterday. It's a beautiful lake located ~50 miles from Lake Tahoe as the crow flies. Pyramid Lake is largely overlooked because Lake Tahoe is so close. It's a desert environment (elev 3,800ft) rather than the tall mountain pines of Tahoe (elev 6,200ft). They are very close in size with Pyramid at 120,000 acres and Tahoe at 122,000 acres. Tahoe is much deeper on average with a volume of 36 cubic miles vs 7 cubic miles for Pyramid. Pyramid gets its water from the Truckee River which is the outlet for Lake Tahoe. Pyramid Lake has no outlet. The pyramid shaped island in the middle of the lake gives Pyramid Lake its name.
It was a beautiful day for a ride and that always cheers me up!

A friend of mine used to go fishing at Pyramid lake. He said strange things happen there, but it could have been the pot.
