A few weeks back a friend of mine asked for my advice and after I gave it they actually acted upon it.

I'm not suggesting that it was a first but it was a rare.

Care to elaborate on the advice?

Stopped at McDondle's earlier for a snack as I was famished after a couple-hours ride without breakfast. Opted for the BBQ Bacon Quarter Pounder, which was quite tasty I'll admit.

But they asked if I wanted the "Angel Reese Special". Not realizing this was an actual thing involving fries and a Hi-C orange drink (glossing over the racism inherent of course) I asked "what, the burger bricks every 3-pointer it attempts then whines about not getting paid enough?"

The nice lady ringing me up laughed a hearty belly laugh. Warmed the cockles of my heart (Leary reference) seeing her day brightened thusly.

I'm lovin it how elite sports stars claim to drink beer and eat burgers and fried chicken. Pizza seems to be left out though,which is an important food group too.

well i wouldn't lump angel reese in with "elite" anything.

I got this week's assignments submitted with over one day to spare.

So I looked ahead at what we're covering next week in both classes. In the Graphic Design for Web class we'll be learning about Bootstrap, and other code snippets.

In the Graphic Design for Print class we're learning about logo design. We have to find two logos that we think are ineffective and share them in a discussion post with why we think they suck.

I've been hoping this topic would come up. I've been wanting to rip on this logo again.

A friend of happily married of mine was contacted by an ex of hers who was a bit of a player in his day and he suggested that they meet up to have a catch up.

I suggested that that was a really bad idea and to decline.

Racism? She initiated the Special with McDonalds herself;

That was a tongue in cheek reference.

My wife asked for a cappuccino. Gonna be awhile before she can taste the coffee. 😂

Today it was the guy who overtook me in a tunnel in a Maserati Grand Turismo and gave it the beans all the way through.

In my ongoing quest to limit how much data the bots can get, I've spent the last few days building myself some traffic analysis tools.

This table is making me pretty happy today.

Well it looks like some beans are being roasted for me! That's cheering me up.

I always said 5 bolts is one too many of a front wheel. Maybe two too many.

I think that they're just there for the weight.

At least the treads are facing the right direction.

gorgeous day today, sposed to be similar tomorrow. made a bunch of cherry sawdust getting some boards turned into a pair of nightstands.

I buddy of mine made these Shaker style cherry nightstands and pencil post bed for me back in 2000. The color gets darker and richer every year. I love natural cherry furniture!
