Sorry if this is in wrong section but after some advice,
Ive sent my front hub off ro be powder coated only to realise ive left the bearings in ( i know before anyone says owt 😭😭) my issue is can the bearings be removed easy without heating up as i dont want to potentially ruin the powder coating same for installing a new set?
Also if the bearings were taped up before would they still be usable as i know theyd be put through some heat during the powder coating process.
Any help ismuch appreciated.
Cheers alex

There is a roller bearing, Ball bearing, and a seal. That should all be taken out prior to any work. You could have the company knocked them out, clean up the area, and prep with tape. once back in your hands, you can install new bearings and the seal. You do not want to powercoat while these items are still in there as the heat will release the grease and just turn it into a a real dumpster fire.
