Modern Vespa

Greetings All,

I just wanted to post that we recently expanded our stable of Vespas! We have owned our blue 2016 GTS300ie for several years now (and recently got it back up and running from a serious electrical short and a rotted cooling hose) and the wife was feeling a bit left out, so she found our new (to us) black 2013 LX150ie for her.

The LX was literally a "garage queen" and only had less than 150 miles on it. That concerned me greatly, but the original owner sent it to the local dealer and had all of the service and a comprehensive inspection performed. This is the same dealer we used to fix our GTS300 recently, so I am comfortable with his work. The dealer gave it a clean bill of health, changed all the fluids, etc. so now we get to enjoy it. Plus the weather has been just perfect for riding here recently...

The cargo rack and top case came with it, but we are waiting for the windscreen and floor mat still enroute from an online parts retailer.

Congratulations on the new ride! I'm a bit envious of your typical winter riding weather, it may not make it past the mid 40s here today.

Sweet, two scoots for twice the fun. They look great. Also, you have the year long riding season in Florida. Don't be afraid to post some photos of your riding adventures so we can be green with envy. Also, don't sit down on a Fire-Ant Hill like my son did last time we were in Florida.
