Ι have changed the battery , just in case, but it's still there!

Sign in display means, that key fob is out of range: if it is within 5-10ft it means that key fob battery is empty or key fob is deactivated. This has nothing to do with the vehicle's battery!
Press the bike finder (upper button) and within 5 seconds also the seat bench opening, keep BOTH BUTTONS PRESSED until the color of the LED changes. Then try again to see if the remote control works. "ACTIVATING THE REMOTE CONTROL To activate or deactivate the remote control, press the Bike Finder button "A" and, within 5 seconds, also the button for opening the seat bench "B" until the color of the LED on the remote control changes. When the LED on the remote control turns green, the "Piaggio Keyless" system can be authenticated. If the LED lights up red, authentication cannot be carried out. If the remote control is not recognized, it is recommended to repeat the activation and authentication procedure. If the lock persists, you must try again with passive recognition." Source: manual Note: Bikefinder and seat opening will work even when keyless-go is deactivated. The point of temporarily deactivating keyless-go is that when it is deactivated, criminals have no chance of extending the radio signal beyond the 5-10ft range with a range extender, for example if the key is in the house and the Vespa is outside / in the garage.
