A used Liberty S showed up near me.
2919, 250 miles

What potential issues should I pay attention to on this model?

Oops it was a 50cc, so not this time.
The question still stands!

2019, 250 miles. That is 50 miles per year.

I see that often. Scooters with ridiculously low mileage.
Why do people buy them, if they never ride them?

For a Vespa I can imagine people love the looks so much and decide to buy one then to experience the driving is not what they had expected.

But a Liberty is a basic scooter, a real workhorse among scooters meant for daily use.

Alas.. it was a 50cc, poor ad writing.

I came to realize it after looking at the post pictures versus 150cc's of that model year. Side cases is different.

Reason for sale was heath issues, i was told, and low miles, I think, short, seasonal commute.

I am back looking at Liberty 150s, something like a low miles 2022.

I am not sure how easy it is to the mechanical bits on these - I consider wrenching part of riding, and nearest dealer is ways away.

Any current or prior owners to chime in on this aspect of the Liberty?
