Modern Vespa

I need someone who can help me compare several surprises (for being very soft in the comment) that I have gotten when disassembling my 2022 (in theory identical to the 2021) 500 HPE purchased in the USA.

Surprises, just to name a few, the connector to the computer is not 6 pins but rather the old Fiat style 2 cables and 3 pins, the computer is integrated into the throttle body, and I don't know how many other things that have made it difficult for me greatly make diagnoses and finish the changes that I initiate.

I'm attaching some photos to see if someone can help me reach valid conclusions and identify the ECU model, as now I can't be sure of nothing based on workshop manual or parts numbers...

The one in eBay is the one I expect have my bike, but as you can see is different from the picture I publish

The one in Maksor store looks similar, but in the parts number you can see exist 2 models and I don't have a way to know which one is the correct (in example I need to purchase a piece).

My problem is that is supossed that a 2021-2022 500 sport advanced have a ecu similar to the one in eBay, but mine don't 😡, so I don't know what crazy Frankenstein Piaggio do on the sport advanced send to the US

This is probably due to the fact that the US spec Piaggio products, especially the MP3s, tend to be cobbled together from parts that are obsolete or can no longer be sold on the Euro spec bikes.

This is not the first time something like this has happened. A few years back when the first HPe MP3s hit US shores, they were technically the old ie with a hpe badge slapped on.

This is because Piaggio treat the US market as a outlet store to clear its shelves of the old stuff.

Seems like Sbaert said it is actually a 2018-2020 ECU version like it says below.

905 is for the advanced the other for one without a reverse drive is a 904

a 530cc got a 901 also a different connector
