Hi all,

Just picked up a 2004 ET4 125cc that had been sitting for a few years before a mechanic serviced, MOT'd and sold it to me 😃

Only done a few miles so far and loving it but fuel gauge its showing full as well as fuel warning light on so don't know which one to believe!

Mechanic topped the tank up before I picked it up and light only came on 25miles or so after that.

Any pointers gratefully received.

Thanks,

T

Tuppe,

Because it hasn't been ridden for a while, I wonder if things in the tank might just be stuck. I'd run that tank of gas through it and hit some bumps to see if things loosen up. This costs nothing.

Perhaps an additive might help too. I'm a Seafoam fan.

Hi all

Turned out the petrol gauge is stuck on full, but the low fuel light was correct

Just getting back to riding and the front end feels a bit skittish and light. Wondering if it's normal as not ridden a scooter before and other bike is a Bonneville so heavier and larger wheels!

Thanks

Have you checked the tire pressure?

19 psi is the correct air pressure for a stock size front tire with one up.

Replacing your front shock with a Bitubo or similar will greatly help your front end feel more planted.
