Lost the trunk key. I guess the only solution is to drill on the key cylinder and replace it. Has anyone done it successfully? Thanks in advance for any suggestion!

I lost the key to my topbox and was able to push the pins out of the hinge with a suitable steel rod and a hammer

I'm not sure what kind of Vespa you have but those pins are impossible to remove on my 2007 250 GTS. Thanks anyway

They didn't look removable on mine either. Any chance of a photo of your hinges?

I second the pin removal theory. It's been done hundreds of times on hundreds of top boxes (usually because the keys were locked in the top box).

Pictures would be helpful.

You can certainly drill out the lock, but I suspect it is not necessary.

Go to a locksmith shop. They'll pick it open and install a new cylinder with keys, for you.

Not in Florida. Beautiful state but a little slow, if you know what I mean. I visited at least 3 locksmith shops...same result: "Sorry. We can't help you". Go figure!

Is it a Vespa-branded top box, or an aftermarket one? You haven't given us much to go on.

Yes, you said that already. But what kind of top box is it?

Alright. Several people have tried to help you, but at this point it's pretty clear that you don't actually want any help.

Locking.
