Ryan Fortnine also recently plugged the Insta360 Ace Pro in his video 'Riding the Cream Machine - Honda's Smooth Six.' He was touting superior nighttime quality.

Everything you see on her youtube is always from several weeks ago. For a few years now, she posts stuff that's way in her rearview mirror for her safety.

Insta does A LOT to try to push referrals from influencers, they offer some VERY rich referral commissions...

However, I never promote their cameras on my channel, even though I have one, because I think it stinks.

yeah we know that. I was just phrasing like that as it was only just published on youtube today and I'm not in her Academy. interesting. Note she was only complaining in that email of the audio not the picture etc so I wonder if she'll switch back again after solving the audio some how (external mics?)

Yup. My One R Twin (older model) has bad audio as well. Insta and the influencers were really touting that the insta mic adapter cost $19 compared to gopro's $59 (or whatever the prices were at the time).... I bought both. Used the insta mic adapter three times... Bought my GoPro adapter for my hero 6, then also used it on my 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11... It must be at least 5 years old now and still sounds way better.

The 360 function IS really cool. Best used in really good lighting. But, overall I just wish the quality was represented more honestly by the people promoting the stuff.

Good on Noraly for back tracking and being honest and saying she isn't using it anymore.

I stuck a camera on my front rack and it was fun, but the wind noise was a pain. I ended up switching to a helmet mount so I could turn my head and get smoother shots.
